Collection crafted sourdough baguette
sliced into 12 thin slices
30 g
softened butter
40 g
M&S chilli and piquillo pepper chutney
100 g
pineapples , finely diced
1/2
small red onion , finely diced
1/2
red chilli , halved, sliced
2 g
coriander , roughly chopped
100 g
grated medium cheddar

Method

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C with the grill on.
Step 2
Lay the slices of M&S Collection baguette (1) onto a tray and lightly grill each side for 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted on each side. Remove the tray from the oven and spread each piece with softened butter (30 g) .
Step 3
Spoon a little M&S chilli jam (40 g) onto each one and spread out evenly.
Step 4
Place the pineapple (100 g) , red onion (1/2) , chilli (1/2) and coriander (2 g) into a small mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Pile around 1 heaped tablespoon of filling onto each slice of baguette. Sprinkle each with a small pile of cheddar cheese (100 g) and place these on a high shelf under the grill for around 6 minutes or until the cheese is golden and melted.
Step 5
Carefully transfer these from the tray to a serving plate and serve immediately. You’ll want to enjoy these while they’re still warm.
