Most loved savoury pastry: Our Best Ever Sausage Rolls
With a whopping 48% of the vote, these were our customers’ overall picky tea winner. Made from handcrafted all-butter pastry from our expert bakers in Yorkshire and perfectly seasoned sausage meat, they’re a picnic icon. Our customers said, "they are like the ultimate gourmet picnic food" thanks to being, "the perfect size, with pastry and sausage meat that are delicious". Try them warmed in the oven with a dollop of our Smokehouse Tomato Sauce.
Most loved cocktail can: Gin and Tonic Can
No picky bits spread is complete without a cocktail can or two, and our gin and tonic – made to an exclusive recipe with two measures of gin – is officially top of the tinnies. Our customers told us, "I really enjoy gin and tonic and M&S sell the best can there is", and that, "these cans of G&T are the best. They taste delicious." Most loved dip: Collection Creamy Tzatziki
A delicious dip is a picky tea non-negotiable, and our customers said our Collection Tzatziki is, "the most authentic Tzatziki I’ve tasted apart from when I’m in Greece or Cyprus." They described it as, "absolutely amazing, and the best one I have tried shop-bought", adding that, quite simply, it's "the best tzatziki dip". We couldn't agree more – with extra-thick yogurt, cucumber and plenty of fresh garlic and dill, it's heaven with Greek-style flatbreads, steamed asparagus, and crunchy crudités for dunking.
Most loved antipasti: Slow Roasted Tomatoes and Italian Mozzarella
It seems the classic combo of tomatoes and mozzarella was a winner with our customers from our much-loved range of authentic antipasti snacks. They loved this pot of Italian Bocconcini mozzarella cheese balls and semi-dried tomatoes, marinated in garlic and oregano, describing it as, "fresh and full of flavour," and, "great for sharing with friends – I would recommend".

Our iconic combo mix was crowned the winning crisp. Customers said these moreish, peppery snacks were, "always a winner – no matter how many bags you buy, they always disappear". Most Loved Mini Bites tub: Millionaire’s
These irresistible mini clusters of rice crispies, digestives and shortbread, enrobed in milk chocolate, were our customers’ top pick from our ever-popular range of mini bite tubs. Customers agreed they were, "very moreish", and "taste amazing", with, "a delicious crispy caramel flavour." Pick up a tub in store to end your picky tea in sweet style.
Most loved deli snack: Dinky Pork Cocktail Sausages
"There is something about these sausages that makes them so much tastier than any other mini sausage I've tried," said our customers, who agreed these M&S Select Farms British pork sausages were top dogs. They also told us, "they are just yummy, and a favourite of all the family". Try adding a spoonful of M&S Honey and Chipotle Marinade to the sausages before oven baking for 10 minutes, for a sticky, spicy picnic treat.
Most loved salad: Roasted Vegetable Couscous
From al-desko lunches to last-minute picnics in the park, this colourful salad, with lightly charred peppers, red onion and courgettes in a smoky paprika dressing, was our customers' go-to on-the-go salad. Customers told us "it's so tasty, it reminds me of holidays," and that, "there are just the right amount of ingredients that totally complement themselves", describing this star salad as, "healthy and delicious".
Most loved frozen picky bit: Crispy Tempura Prawns
With succulent, responsibly sourced tail-on prawns in a light and crispy batter, these were officially our customers' from-the-freezer fave. What makes them so popular? "Good size prawns with lovely crispy batter, great flavour M&S’s are brilliant, especially with chilli dipping sauce," and, "the best prawn tempura out of all the other supermarkets." Our customers voted Our Best Ever Prawn Cocktail as their favourite sandwich filler. They told us it, "never disappoints," and is "always full of flavour." With sweet, plump, responsibly sourced Atlantic prawns and meaty Honduran prawns in our signature, luxurious Marie Rose sauce, it's no wonder customers told us, "the sauce is beautiful and rich".
