stale M&S soft white farmhouse bread loaves

M&S unfiltered extra virgin olive oil
plus extra to serve

basil leaves , torn
plus extra to serve

Method

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Add the tomatoes (500 g) to a large bowl, season generously with sea salt (to taste) , drizzle with the vinegar (15 mL) , toss well and set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 2
When the tomatoes have marinated, tear the stale bread (100 g) into smallish pieces.
Step 3
Toss the olive oil (30 mL) through the tomatoes, add in the bread, torn basil leaves (10 g) and some freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
Step 4
Serve on a platter topped with the burrata (1) a drizzle of olive oil, freshly ground black pepper and more torn basil.
