Method

Step 1
Combine the cider (500 mL) , apple juice (100 mL) , rum liqueur (100 mL) , whole cloves (4) , cinnamon sticks (2) , cardamom pods (2) and sugar (25 g) together in a pan and heat gently for 10 minutes. Don’t let it boil.
Step 2
Once warmed through, ladle into glasses or mugs and garnish with the apple slices (to taste) . Serve while hot.
