self-raising flour

cornflour

baking powder

chopped into chunks

M&S chicky choccy speckled eggs

Method

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan. Grease a round cake tin.
Step 2
Beat the butter (175 g) and sugar (200 g) until pale and creamy, then mix in the egg (1) and egg yolk.
Step 3
Combine the flour (250 g) , cornflour (5 g) and baking powder (4 g) , then fold through the egg, butter and sugar mix. Add the chunks of chocolate (100 g) and stir until evenly combined.
Step 4
Pour into the cake tin and bake for 20 minutes or until light brown.
Step 5
Remove from the oven and gently press in the chicky choccy speckled eggs (1 handful) . Allow to cool slightly, then serve with ice cream or double cream.
