as needed
butter
to wash the filo pastry
or egg

nigella seeds
to taste
mashed potatoes
to serve

Method

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C/gas mark 4.
Step 2
Add the tin of chicken tikka masala (1 tin) to a pie dish, then top with the filo pastry (6 sheets) and wash with butter (as needed) or egg.
Step 3
Top with nigella seeds (2 g) and bake in the oven until the pastry is golden-brown – this should take 15-20 minutes.
Step 4
Serve with microwaved M&S buttery mashed potato (to taste) , rice or naan.
