Needed the sheet for a child, in toilet training for through the night. It looked and felt soft and like an ordinary cotton sheet. The skirt around it was a knitted polyester type. Strong and durable. Fitted over mattress and a topper comfortably. It really does protect anythin underneath it. Was soiled twice and it didn't lie on the surface but got absorbed. Washed and tumble dryed, as instructions and came out like new, no staining. This is early days so hope it lasts for a long while.

I love the M&S mattress protectors - these ones don't make a rustling sound like some of the other Terry ones. So far they have washed well. They are def waterproof which is what I need in a 4 child and 2 pet household.

Amazing value ! So soft ! can't hear the scrunching! & it's waterproof what more can you ask for ! As for washing the item i havent yet just put on staright from packaging ' so don't no how it comes out after a wash ' Just Amazing to protect my new investment 'especially with a new puppy got to be extra carefull of accidents ' got a couple to make sure when it's washed got another to replace as soon as it can go back ! Highley recommended and got the single one to for the spare bed ! Thanks m&s saved the day !
