Not 100% cotton
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this mattress protector because it was made from cotton. I was disappointed when it arrived as although the top was made of cotton the sides were not. The sides were made from stretchy polyester. I have had stretchy side protectors before and been disappointed with them as they do not stay in place. I therefore returned it. A shame as previous M&S protectors I have purchased had cotton sides but these are no longer available it seems

100% cotton. Pricey but worth it as I will be sleeping on it for the next 10 years.

Very good quality & lovely and deep!!!

I replaced my previous (cheaper) M&S mattress covers with this Stay Cool type. It is too early to say whether it keeps you cooler, but the quality of the product is certainly far superior to the previous protectors. They are quite thick, and feel lovely. The extra deep size has made it sooo much easier when putting onto the bed. No more struggling with the corners which makes life much easier. They are not cheap, however I have the feeling that they will last a decent amount of time. They also have washed well, so all in all I would highly recommend!!!

Pleased with this deep cover. Fits our mattress easily. Nice quality. Hopefully will not do what others have done- will retain its shape and remain to cover in full

Good fit and stays cool

I needed a mattress protector but waited a while because I wanted to find one which would cover the deep mattress on my bed. When I saw this one I was confident it would fit and I liked the fact it will stay cool. It fits beautifully and the cool effect helps me sleep.

Cool and practical
Yes, I recommend this
As we are currently going through a very hot period of weather I wanted to buy a mattress protector that was cooling and fitted our deep mattress. This product met both these requirement’s. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the others but I do believe that you get what you pay for in the long run and I know that I can trust bedding made for M&S

It’s ok …
Needed a mattress protector in a hurry. It fits a very deep mattress very well, but it did not feel in any way cool and is unfortunately not waterproof so I feel it is quite expensive.

Not stay cool
No, I don't recommend this
This is a good quality mattress protector. The skirt is ample for a deep mattress and covers really well. The reason for my 3 stars is the stay cool feature, it is no different to any other mattress protector. The stay cool feature was my primary reason for purchasing this particular protector. I feel disappointed with this.
