Restore Cooling Gel Mattress Pad

Lovely and cool initially. But when I wake up a few hours later it’s very warm. So great for being cooler when getting into bed but doesn’t stay cool.

Zero ratings from me. Firstly the pad creases when lying on it so there was no way you could have it the way they show it. I used to this to cover my pillow to see if that worked, but it didn't. Then the worst thing was it didn't cool you down, in fact it became like a heater on my pillow. I asked around to see if this was just an issue with me but my family said the same. I ended up throwing this away, total waste of money. And I emailed silent night and They were not helpful when I explained my experience and asked for my money to be refunded, their response was contact the manufacturer even though I stated that this was their product and they were advertising this. So in the bin went all the pads. Didn't work for me or my family, a gimic is what I say this is

I bought this during the peak of the heatwave. Great product to use on hot nights. For extra cooling, pop it in the fridge for half an hour!

Mat is beautifully cooling to sit/lie on for the first 30 minutes but is no good in bed at night because it then warms up to body temperature. To reset, you need to remove it from the bed for a short while, then replace.

Ok for the feet and lower leg. Disappointing for torso. I found it not brilliant but acceptable to sleep on from a comfort point of view but that it quickly lost its cooling ‘power’ and changed to a hot water bottle. Too warm and uncomfortable to sleep on thru the night (which I know have been exceptionally unusual for England) . But once I put it widthways at the bottom of the bed the irregularity of my legs landing on the pad made it successfully cool until morning. I tried it over and under the ‘super cool’ sheets!

It’s great, so refreshing when you get into bed but the fact it doesn’t stay cold all night means you are not freezing by the morning
