Bought it as a replacement for our previous mattress topper, also from M&S, which had seen better days. This time I decided to go for something that could be washed ( old one had been down and couldn't be washed unfortunately). It does feel very thick and padded, only had it for a couple of days but felt very comfortable and slept like a log, may long continue!
