[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was desperately in need for a new mattress and after doing some research, I came across the new Ultragel Cool-to-touch mattress range from Silentnight and decided to purchase the 2000 Pocket Mattress in a King Size. I was initially drawn in by the Ultra Gel aspect which states, the mattress has a cooling-effect top layer that offered supreme comfort and would take heat away from your body. On the day of delivery, I was immediately impressed by the sheer size of the mattress - it is huge! It is very high and looked very luxurious. I could see that it appeared to be very well made and I love the light blue, detailed stitching Initially, after 1 weeks of sleeping, I wasn’t sure if it was soft enough for me and debated on returning it, however decided to give it some more time and for my body to get more used to it and after 3 weeks - I can honestly say, that I am so glad I decided to keep it! It is definitely a Soft/Medium as described and has got softer since first few uses. I feel it supports my body perfectly and somewhat moulds to my body shape making sure I am comfortable each time I lay down and sleep and I am now very much in love with it! However, I wanted to mention one aspect that I am a rather disappointed on is the cooling effect claim and feel that it is pretty much non-existent in my opinion. You are able to feel a slight coolness with no bedding on, but as soon as a sheet is put on top, you cannot feel any cooling effect whatsoever. It’s a deep shame as it was a feature I was truly excited about and had swayed my decision to purchase, as I tend to overheat a lot during the night time. Another aspect worth mentioning is that as the mattress is a lot higher than my previous, I’ve had to replace all of my bed sheets for deeper fit ones as they would slip off constantly throughout the night, so this was an additional expense for me. All in all, it’s a fantastic mattress, and I do love it, I feel it is getting more and more comfortable after each use and I am having much better quality of sleep each night, so therefore I am happy overall with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A high quality firm mattress with a soft layer on the top. It's very comfortable and has great back support. Supports your whole body. It's not squishy or springy at all. Edge support is fantastic. No squeaking. Very well packaged and arrived on time. The plastic was very dusty though so be careful it doesn't make any marks on your bed, like it did my headboard!.... Luckily I was able to wipe clean. This is the best mattress I've ever had. I previously had a much softer mattress so it's taken a few nights to adjust to my new one. Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable, just the right level of support/softness. Sleep has absolutely improved since using. My partner tends to overheat whilst sleeping so the temperature regulation was one of the selling points for us. I do think this has helped slightly, although it is hard to tell as the weather has been extremely hot of recent. The mattress is really thick and does seem very durable. Only criticism is there is a bit of a strange smell, I expect this will fade with use but it is very strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks now. Even with its additional topper it is a medium to soft mattress. We have got a mattress protector on it but I’m not 100% convinced it regulates the temperature as much as I hoped. The one downside to this mattress is that it is incredibly thick. It does look a little high sat on the bed. Overall we are happy with this and have adapted well to it with no issues whatsoever. Pros it is a comfortable mattress that moulds around the body Cons it’s incredibly thick and stands quite high on the bed frame.

What I love is that it's got the firmness of the springs that we needed but it's also got the coolness and softness at the top which makes it a great combination. It's really comfortable and that's what we were ultimately looking for.

It’s firm as described, however it’s very comfortable and has provided good support, I’ve slept very well. The cooling does work as the last few days have been very hot at night. It’s a bit higher than my old mattress but that’s not a problem. Feels very luxurious and durable.

I got this mattress a week ago and it’s the best week's sleep I’ve ever had. Is so comfortable it keeps my body straight I’m not dipping in the middle like I use to with my old mattress. It has a built-in mattress topper, which I think is a genius idea and the handles on the sides so it’s easy to move around when needed. It’s cool to the touch and it has kept me cool for the last couple of nights as it’s been very warm at night.

I’ve been sleeping on this for a week now and already I’m feeling the benefits. It is so comfortable and it supports my whole body. I don’t feel like I’m dipping down into the mattress. I’m staying at one whole level which is good for my back. My back pain has definitely eased in the last week. it’s been very hot during the night so I thought I might be hot in bed but this mattress keeps the temperature cool and I’ve not been waking up hot wanting to take the covers off me. The mattress is called to the touch when you get in and it quickly regulates the temperature so that you are comfortable.. it has handles on the sides to make it easy to move, which is very helpful when moving it up the stairs . I like the pockets on the mattress topper It is a good texture and it’s breathable fabric I would definitely recommend this to Friends and family as it’s well worth the money.

Have been desperate for a new mattress for quite a while and was super pleased to come across this one.very very comfortable, I actually look forward to going to bed now as I’m not tossing and turning all night. Best night sleep I have had in such a long time. The cooling effect really works,it’s been so nice these past few hot nights. My old mattress was pure foam and would hold onto the heat massively. I slept like an absolute baby last night! The support was perfect, I didn't once feel to hot, which is remarkable given the weather at present. You could feel the gel coolness immediately when unpacking. It feel sturdy and most of all, extremely comfortable. I woke up with no aches or pains & feel great! I am thrilled with this purchase and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is so plush! It really is a beast of a mattress, so deep and luxurious! I feel so high up upon it and like I'm in a fancy hotel rather than my bedroom. I would describe it accurately as medium firmness (as it claims to be). I am used to a very soft mattress and I'm noticing it is easier to move around on this mattress and less stiffness in the morning so i feel that the medium firmness is benefiting me. It has the thickest built in memory gel layer so it's really comfortable with no pressure points. I'm sleeping really well and feel well supported. The mattress feels really well made with quality materials and neat stitching. I noticed the comparison in quality when removing my old mattress and it was a huge improvement. I have two small niggles. One is that the fitted sheet moves around a lot. I think its because the matress fabric has a slight sheen. So I'm refitting the sheet more often. The other is the claims that its 'Cool Gel'. In truth it feels the same temperature as every memory foam mattress i have had in the past. But i don't mind that and i have come to expect it from memory foam. In my opinion the extra comfort outweighs the added heat. I'm looking forward to years of comfortable sleep from this mighty mattress!

From the quality of the mattress this demonstrates the durability of the mattress. The support on my back is great it gave me a great night sleep and I am currently going through menopause and the temperature control of the mattress was very welcome. I highly recommend the mattress and the added bonus it came with complementary pillows.
