One star is awarded for their lovely presentation. Although well within their best before date they were dry, sickly and not at all chocolatey. They tasted cheap and a huge disappointment as they were for a birthday. I’m baffled by the good reviews they receive. I’ll go back to ordering a cake next time. At this price point I expect more from M&S

I have had these cakes before and was really impressed, as they were delicious, moist and full of flavour. Unfortunately, this time the quality was very disappointing. The cakes had very little taste and were noticeably dry, rather than having the lovely moist texture I remembered. The toppings were also different from before and not nearly as enjoyable.
