THE FIRST SIGNS OF
Show winter blues who’s boss with a bunch of bright and bold new-season flowers
Although the shortest day of the year officially falls in December, it’s only at the very end of January that I begin to see the light at the end of the winter tunnel. Amid the dark, chilly days, the arrival of our new-season flowers is a welcome reminder that spring isn’t far away. This year’s arrangements are particularly cheering: think neon-hued gerberas and antirrhinums; dusky pink roses and fat cymbidiums with teardrop-shaped orchids. Pretty pastel hyacinths are the quintessential spring flower, guaranteed to cheer up even the darkest of days. Send to someone special or inject some spring joy into your own home.
