step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
step 2
Heat a splash of oil in a deep-lidded frying pan over a medium heat. Season the salmon fillets (3) with salt and pepper and add them to the pan, skin-side down, and cook for 8 minutes. Flip, then cook for a further 2-4 minutes until cooked through.
step 3
Add the garlic baguette (1 pack) to a baking tray and cook in the oven for 12-14 minutes.
step 4
Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside. To the pan, add the red onion (1/2), season with salt and pepper and fry for 3-4 minutes. Then add the garlic (3 cloves) and tomatoes (150 g) and fry for a further minute.
step 5
Stir through the saucy beans (1 jar). Fill up one quarter of the jar with water, shake with the lid on and add to the pan. Add the kale (2 handfuls), cover with a lid and gently simmer for 6 minutes. Add the salmon back to the pan and cook for a further 2 minutes with the lid on.
step 6
Plate the saucy beans with the salmon fillet on top; serve with a dollop of the soft cream cheese (as needed) (if you like) and the garlic bread for dunking.
