Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6. Line a medium (approx. 20cm x 28cm) baking tin with parchment paper.

Heat the butter (255 g), sugar (170 g) and golden syrup (2 tbsp) in a large saucepan with a pinch of salt until the sugar has dissolved.

Remove from the heat and stir in the oats (340 g), sesame seeds (2 tbsp) and raisins (100 g).

Press into the prepared tin then press down with a silicone spatula or palette knife to flatten.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden, then remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tin.

Turn out onto a large chopping board then cut into 16 with a sharp knife.
