Ellie Spicer

Ellie graduated from Leiths School of Food & Wine in December 2025 with a Foundation Diploma (Distinction); and from the London College of Fashion at University of the Arts with BA in Fashion Journalism (First Class Honours)

Ellie Spicer content editor, writer and video content producer - and now, a chef. For 15 years, she specialised in writing for the fashion industry, crafting creative copy for CRM and online, content editing for digital platforms and video producing for live streaming. Ellie has worked at major international retailers as well as smaller fashion start-ups.

Having been lucky enough to be surrounded by great produce, a connection to the farming world, and delicious home cooking throughout her life, Ellie decided to make a career change in 2025. She graduated with a Foundation Diploma at Leiths School of Food & Wine in December 2025, before becoming a chef at a London restaurant just a few weeks later. She has since worked as a private chef across the UK and Europe, before rejoining M&S as a Food Editor.

Ellie specialises in modern British cookery with a focus on adding healthy touches to daily meals. She loves to experiment with flavours from South Korea, China, and Japan, alongside an addiction to simple yet exquisite pasta dishes. She documents her cooking on her Instagram @thecookat37.
