Method

step 1
Fill a saucepan with boiling water over medium-high heat. Add the milk chocolate (100 g) and dark chocolate (100 g) to a heatproof bowl and set over the pan of simmering water. Stir the chocolate until it has melted completely.
step 2
Meanwhile, put the apples (4) into a heatproof bowl and pour over enough boiling water to cover, then drain. Wash the apples under hot water, dry with kitchen paper, then allow to cool.
step 3
Line a medium baking tray, big enough to fit the four apples with space between, with baking parchment. Pierce each apple with a wooden skewer.
step 4
Roughly chop the bigger bits of the Hallow-scream munch (300 g) into bite-sized pieces, leaving some of the smaller pieces whole.
step 5
Once the apples have cooled down, dip an apple into the bowl of melted chocolate, completely coating the apple, then leave to drip over the bowl for a few seconds. Place skewer-side up onto the lined tray. Repeat with the remaining apples. Leave to set in the fridge for 15 minutes, until the chocolate is just beginning to firm up and set.
step 6
Remove the apples from the fridge. Hold each apple over a bowl and spoon over the chopped Hallow-scream munch, gently pressing the pieces into the partially set chocolate so they stick.
step 7
Place the chocolate-covered pretzels onto the skewers of the apples. Place the apples back on the tray and leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour.
