I had bought the feather and down a few years ,I bought this thinking it was better, but is not so full as the other even after 4 years and it’s a lots more expensive. I have put the old one back on and the new one in the quests room. A lot of money to do that,would I recommend the old one yes,the new one no.

The shafts that run through the feathers can be felt when you run your fingers over the topper. There is a great deal of feathers inside this topper. As a deluxe item from M & S I hadn’t expected this to be the case and I wondered had this item been subject to any quality control before being offered for sale.

No, I don't recommend this
As pointed out in other reviews, once you break the seal on the packaging you cannot return the item. The mattress topper is thin, far thinner than the plumped up one shown in the photograph, despite being deluxe Hungarian goose feather & down it offers barely any support and you can feel all of the spiky shafts of the feathers through the down proof cover. It is not worth the very high premium price. Rather than drifting off in blissful comfort you will find yourself lying awake in bitter disappointment.
