• We’ve recreated our customers’ favourite M&S Food products, as well as M&S Bank and Energy icons, in miniature form – from Percy Pig fruity chews to our lightly salted rice cakes and Our Best Ever burger. With 25 to collect and keep, M&S Little Shop 2 is fun for the whole family (aged 4+) to enjoy during the summer and beyond! Collect, play, keep and learn a little bit more about where food comes from, how energy is produced and how to save money.

  • You’ll receive an M&S Little Shop 2 mini for every £20 you spend (after all discounts) at M&S Food. So, if you spend £40, you’ll receive two collectables; £60 gets you three, and so on. Don’t forget to scan a Little Shop 2 mini if you’re using a self-checkout till.

  • All M&S Foodhalls in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will offer an M&S Little Shop 2 mini when you spend £20 or more. You won’t find them at franchise stores, such as travel hubs, hospitals and petrol stations.

  • We’re running Little Shop 2 until 14 September 2020 or while stocks last. But be quick – when they’re gone, they’re gone!

  • You’ll need to spend £20 in a single transaction at M&S Food to receive your mini.

  • You can collect M&S Little Shop 2 minis on food and drink products purchased at M&S Food, including Food to Order. Gift cards, clothing, homeware, online orders and M&S Café purchases are not included.

  • Little Shop 2 is designed to create fun and excitement! Each collectable comes in a concealed paper packet, so your little ones will receive a surprise every time.

  • No – our M&S Little Shop 2 minis hold no cash value. But if you don’t wish to collect them, just let our store colleagues know.

  • Absolutely – we have an exciting range of mini accessories to help your little ones play with their Little Shop 2 collectables, including a mini trolley and mini basket, all £3 each.

  • All our accessories are available in-store only, while stocks last. Our in-store colleagues will be happy to help, or alternatively, please check a nearby store.

  • No, our accessories for Little Shop 2 include the collector’s case, trolley and basket, all £3 each.

  • With social distancing restrictions in place, we are not planning to run any physical swap events at this stage. Rest assured, if you have finished playing with your minis or have duplicates, we’re helping you to play, reuse, recycle! Our Little Shop 2 minis have been made to last and to be played with for years to come – we’ve created lots of new games this year to keep families entertained. Alternatively, why not swap your minis with family or friends (in line with social distancing guidelines)? If you’d like to recycle your minis, simply pop the paper or card ones in your home recycling bin or bring the plastic ones to our recycle boxes at our food information desks.

  • The possibilities are endless! We’ve created a range of games that can be played with Little Shop 2 – from colouring in to memory- and maths-based games. Each mini comes with a collector’s card with information and fun facts to help kids learn a little bit more about where food comes from, how energy is produced and how to save money.

  • Our minis have all been made using durable materials and have been designed to last and play with for years to come! That’s why we’ve created lots of fun games to keep little ones entertained. After listening to customer feedback from last year, we have made even more of our minis – over a third of the range – from sustainable paper and card where possible. We’ve ensured the rest of the minis are made from recycled old washing machines, fridges and bottles to give the plastic a new purpose.

  • We’ve sourced the Little Shop 2 paper and card minis, including all the packaging, from responsibly managed forests.

  • Our Little Shop 2 minis have been made to last and to be played with for years to come. However, if your little ones have finished playing with their minis, we are helping you to play, reuse, recycle:

    • Play – our collectables are designed to keep and we have created lots of fun games and ideas to keep families busy during the summer and beyond.
    • Reuse – if your little ones no longer use their minis, you can reuse them by passing them onto friends and family for others to play with (in line with social distancing guidelines).
    • Recycle – alternatively, you can easily recycle any collectables made from sustainable paper and card at home. For our plastic minis, customers can bring them to our recycle box at our food information desks. Any leftover collectables will be recycled through our take-back scheme to create things such as store fittings and playground equipment.
  • M&S Little Shop collectables made from cardboard and paper are widely recycled, but it’s always best to check with your local council for details. Because our plastic collectables have been designed to last, using durable materials, they’re not currently widely recyclable in the home. If your child has finished collecting or playing with their plastic collectables, we encourage you to pass them to family or friends in line with social distancing guidelines. Alternatively, you can recycle the plastic minis in our recycle boxes at our Foodhall information desks. We will recycle any leftover minis through our take-back scheme to create items such as playground equipment and store fittings.

  • At M&S, our priority is to remove and reduce our use of plastic where it adds no benefit in preserving quality and preventing food waste, and we’ve already removed 2,000 tons since 2018. Where it’s not possible to remove or reduce plastic, our goal is to support customers to reuse and recycle by ensuring 100% of our packaging is widely recyclable by 2022. You can find more details here. Our minis have all been made to last using durable materials and we’ve continued to ensure that Little Shop 2 involves no single-use plastic packaging. Please see details on our play, reuse, recycle plan here.

  • We add any leftover collectables from our recycle boxes in every store nationwide to our plastic take-back scheme. The take-back scheme (currently in 16 stores) helps customers to recycle plastic that isn’t widely recyclable in the home and it is through this mechanic that we recycle the minis. Collected plastic is sorted and melted to create flat boards, which is used to create items such as store fittings and playground equipment for schools.

  • Absolutely! While we used most of our returned collectables at our swap events to help customers complete their sets, we recycled any remaining minis through our plastic take-back scheme. We combined the minis with the plastic collected through our take-back scheme, which is in 16 M&S stores, and we created flower planters for primary schools to use in their playgrounds.

  • All our Little Shop collectables have been independently tested to ensure they’re safe for children aged 4+. As with all toys, we recommend customers keep a close eye on their children when they play with Little Shop and Little Shop 2.

  • No. M&S Little Shop 2 minis are for playing with, not for eating. They’re suitable for children aged 4+ but, as with all toys, we recommend keeping an eye on kids while they play with Little Shop and Little Shop 2.

  • We always welcome suggestions or ideas, so please send them to us through our customer service team.
