step 1
Heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. Grease and line a 23cm round cake tin.
step 2
Beat the butter (250 g), brown sugar (200 g) and caster sugar (100 g) together until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs (2), one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract (1 tsp).
step 3
Mix the flour (350 g), bicarbonate of soda (1 tsp) and salt (1/2 tsp) in a separate bowl, then stir into the butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
step 4
Fold through most of the chopped Hallow-scream Munch (100 g), reserving a handful for the top.
step 5
Press the dough evenly into the prepared tin and scatter over the reserved Hallow-scream Munch.
step 6
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden around the edges but still slightly soft in the centre. Leave to cool completely.
step 7
Place the marshmallows (12) in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short bursts until melted and stretchy. Allow to cool until able to handle and using lightly oiled hands stretch to create a spider web effect and place on the cookie.
step 8
Decorate with the Colin spooky sour sweets (1 pack), arranging them over and around the marshmallow web.
