Chill a Martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Stir the gin (50 ml), vermouth (10 ml) and pickle brine (5 ml) in a tall mixing glass with the ice (1 handful) until the outside of the glass feels cold.

Strain into the chilled glass, garnish with a strip of lemon zest (1/2) and the fiery pickles (3), threaded onto a cocktail stick.
