Luxury Hungarian Goose Down Medium Pillow

I am a side sleeper and find the pillow is just fine for me. Very soft and at the same time supportive enough. Interesting combination: "Hungarian Goose Down, Made in China".

Lovely pillows, very soft, comfortable for side & back sleepers. Recommend. There are a lot of comments about the pillow being too soft or underfilled - I think this is not true. The pillow is filled with down which is very soft & will always naturally feel softer than a feather or synthetic pillow. I use a pillow protector with them so it definitely feels slightly fuller & gives a bit more shape & structure to the pillow.

The pillow is on the softer side, rather than maedium, but it is still very comfortable.

Very comfortable pillow, medium to soft which is exactly what I wanted. I purchased one initially to see if I liked it and now purchased a second. Lovely quality.

I had a really old pillow that needed replacing and as I had vouchers I thought I would treat myself to a Hungarian goose down pillow as had read they were good for front sleepers. It seemed ok when I got it out of the bag but I have struggled with it. It is just far too soft even though it is classed as medium. I appreciate that down is soft but it therefore needs more filling. I scrunch my pillows up but there is just not enough to it. Maybe it is just me but would not buy another and did not want to return after using it. Will make do for now while is go on another search. Difficult when they are so expensive.

Goose down pillow. Bought the medium as having had previous but due to the thick outer covering it makes the pillow a lot firmer. Prefer a normal pillow cover. Taking a while to adjust.

Disappointing used it for only a week and gone really flat!! Too soft now to sleep on

I ordered this to replace my previous one which had done excellent service; it is nowhere near the same. Far too little filling and it collapses down quickly, so that my head is not supported adequately. I see that several others report the same problem. Very disappointing

This pillow was bought as a replacement for my much loved but older pillow and it wasn’t cheap £79. There is now way this is a medium there is barely a feather in it to call it soft would be exaggerating. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was.

It adapts to all kinds of sleep and position issues

Had this pillow for 1 month now. Advertised as medium, but really is a soft pillow. Very comfy, but the down is not that lofty amd collapses easily. For a front sleeper, this is no problem. For a back sleeper, I would say it's just about ok, but could do being filled more generously. Side sleepers, which it was never advertised for, should definitely look elsewhere.

We have purchased these pillows for years. They stay in great shape if you fluff them up every morning by turning & banging them against the bed. We needed to replace our two. But having now used our new ones over the last two nights we are hugely disappointed. They are not as filled as they once were. Tried to fluff them and they are just not as full. Of course pillows cannot be returned. We did not mind paying the price because we know the quality and have purchased these several times in the past. But they are not the same. While I praised them in the past, I would not buy them again nor recommend. I ask M&S, what has happened to your Hungarian goose down pillows? Have you cut corners to keep the price the same? I prefer to pay more and have the quality you once had. Especially with pillows as they effect our neck health and sleep which affects our health over all. Shame.

I am used to Hungarian goose down pillows and needed to replace two after years of wear. Goose down to me and my comfort, is far superior to duck down . I have had these two pillows two weeks and so far thy have been a joy to sleep on . I sleep on my side, and despite it saying they are suitable for back sleepers I am sure we all vary in the night . I won't wash them as I don't use tumble driers but will air them outside . It is such a gamble with pillows, as people experience things very differently - buying online is also a gamble but given they are not stocked in store as a tester ( which if each home store had one of each type would be brilliant ) and I don't live anywhere near a JW or White Company store who stock goose down, - then I would suggest people try one and see how they feel . All in all I think these are excellent value for money .
