What is the difference between a cushion and a pillow?

Pillows are made specifically for use while you sleep. You can expect rectangular shapes and fillings that mould supportively to the shape of your head, neck and shoulders. Cushions are commonly used for decoration but can also offer support when you’re sitting – you might lean on one in bed as you read or pop one behind your back on the sofa. Is it better to have a soft or hard pillow for sleep?
