Velvet Knee Length A-Line Skirt

I was looking for a velvet skirt, straight and knee length but there was nothing and then I spotted this gold one. I had black in mind but realised that the 2 tops I had were black with fancy gold sleeves. They were ideal to go with the gold and would look stunning with the contrast. The material feels to be good quality and heavy enough to hang well - also fully lined. And even better it was in the sale at half price.

Good quality skirt, true to size. Not as vibrant as in the photos though.

Really lovely velvet skirt. Love the gold colour. Feels very luxurious. The zip unfortunately does feel a bit flimsy. Nice fit and shape. Wore it Boxing Day which was my plan!

A great skirt perfect for a slightly dressier occasion. Quality is great but I did find it attracted any fluff!

Purchased reduced the navy, lovely fabric can be smart or casual nicely positioned pockets that don't bulge. Would have liked it to be a little longer and the waist was a little big. havent washed it yet so cant comment.

I’m surprised that you asked me to review as I returned both size 8 and size 10 as zips on both were completely rubbish!

I purchased as this said machine washable (which I thought was rare) but when it arrived I contated CS who said "I wouldn't wash it"

This is a lovely skirt in heavyweight velvet. The mustard gold yellow is a good colour. I'm 5ft 1 inch tall and the skirt is knee length on me (petite). My only slight disappointment is that the a-line pattern causes the fabric to stick out a little, especially at the back, as the material is too heavyweight to drape really well in that style. It might sit better as a pencil skirt. This is a minor quibble and overall it's a lovely skirt which I shall enjoy wearing.

I bought the same skirt last year in pink and so I thought the navy I ordered would be the same length but it was much longer and didn't suit me. It is a good quality skirt though.

Really nice skirt. I bought the blue which is a good colour and goes with most things. The material is soft and the fit is flattering.

Lovely skirt, I sized down. Chose the blue and it goes with most of my clothes.

I’m not a skirt wearer but in an effort to dress up I thought this one would be good to try. I love it - perfect length for me on the knee and the fabric is good quality velvet. Smart enough for a Christmas party but could dress down with a big jumper.

Same as other customers comment plastic zip jams needs a metal zip.

Fabulous colour but the zip is nylon and I just couldn’t move it either up or down. Unfortunately, had to go back.
