Cotton Skirts at M&S

Easy to wear and endlessly versatile, women’s cotton skirts are the summer staples your wardrobe will thank you for. Light, breathable and oh-so-comfortable, these skirts are ideal for everything from park strolls to last-minute brunch plans. This season’s edit includes everyday ladies’ cotton skirts and standout pieces designed to turn heads. There are crisp mini skirts perfect for sunny city days, flowing midi skirts for an effortless silhouette and swishy full pleated skirts when you want that extra bit of movement.

Colour-wise, we’ve kept things classic and current. We have white skirts for a fresh, crisp look, timeless black skirts, and vibrant green skirts when you want to lean into the spirit of summer. If you’re drawn to natural textures, pair our women’s cotton skirts with linen skirts for an easy mix-and-match summer capsule. Feeling a little more luxe? Try a soft-sheen silk skirt for a day-to-evening twist. Our plus-size A-line skirts offer structure without stiffness – and they look just as good with trainers as they do with sandals.

Are you looking to switch up your styling? Add a tucked-in women’s top or one of our relaxed women’s shirts and blouses, cinch the waist with a sleek women’s belt, and finish the look with easy women’s footwear. If you’re heading off somewhere warm, don’t forget to throw in a lightweight sarong or opt for our denim midi skirts in a clever blend of cotton fabrics and a slightly heavier weave.
