Linen Rich Maxi Wrap Skirt

Bought this for my upcoming holiday so I haven't worn it yet but it ws a good fit and length when I tried it on. Nice cool linen skirt for warmer days.

Great idea but poor fit for me. Found too scruffy and matronly - for me! I think a better fit would help.

Bought this skirt in black, hoping for some sun protection and an alternative to trousers in trying to keep UV from reaching my legs. It falls straight, the fabric's light and has a clear linen feel. At 5'2", the Short/Petit length is perfect to lower calf. I'm usually M&S 12 or 14 for waist and hips, making it difficult to guess what's going to fit and what isn't. Plumped for 12 this time; with the elasticated waist it fits well, closely rather than too loosely. Reasonable value. Lost a star for lack of pockets and already being a magnet for cat fur, though I haven't had a chance to wear it yet.

Love this skirt. Neutral colour so can be worn with any top. I like that it is a straight skirt as I’m petite 5’3” and voluminous skirts overwhelm my frame. Only drawback is no pockets hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. I may take it to a tailor to see if pockets can be fitted.
