Won't order again due to rubbish delivery
Put my flat number. on order but Parcelforce took box back as they said there wasn't a number! Nice wine but I paid for a nominated day delivery and it was brought a day late. I am 65+, no car, but was originally told to pick up at post office and had to beg Parcelforce to redeliver! More professional, convenient deliveries offered by other retailers. Unfortunately I don't think I'd use Marks again for wine delivery.

We were looking for a smooth, velvety, mellow, relatively heavy, easy drinking red wine for a large birthday party, with 75 guests. The description and customer reviews suggested this wine would be perfect. Ordering 12 bottles was easy, although delivery was charged extra. On arrival we opened a bottle, and left it for for a couple of hours to taste. We were disappointed. It had a distinctive, sharp and somewhat acidic taste, even after decanting. Not what we expected or wanted. The return process was not straightforward, requiring an online chat, but the local store (Exeter) was extremely helpful, particularly the manager, and we received a full refund, even for the bottle opened for tasting.

We bought this wine initially thinking it was a rioja which we love! However it turned out a brilliant wine, great for drinking alone or with food. We bought while the 25% off was offered when you order two boxes. Otherwise standard price woul be a bit too expensive for us.
