The cake itself was lovely but sadly the icing let it down not by flavour but by consistency as it was very grainy. So this spoilt the enjoyment. And priced at £35 it makes it an expensive cake not to be fully satisfied with.

Bought this cake first time from M&S. Taste was good. It was fresh and moist. We got it on 27th oct and was best before 2nd Nov. Kept it out of fridge as recommended and was all good. It had a bit thick layer of icing so many people who don't like too much sugar might not like it. I scraled off the sugary bit but overall we loved the cake. Would like to order again some other flavor next time for sure.
