Definitely a cake I will buy again and again. I have made and bought many cakes over the years but this one was special. It was for my husband's 60th. I bought a "naked" cake so that I could add decorations to it which I did. It didn't need embelishment because it looked good but I have to tinker with everything!! The cake was delicious. It is the first time a birthday cake has ever been finished in my house. It was so good that we all had multiple pieces over a few days. I cut it up and kept it in an airtight container so it remained soft. I'm hoping my husband buys this for my birthday and have dropped many hints. Fingers crossed.

Lovely cake but overpriced in my local store they have a Naked cake on the shelf with the Birthday cakes it’s bigger than the top layer and it’s only £15 so buying this works out expensive

Classic M&S delicious that you can decorate yourself and make it look like a cake that was three times the cost but tastes better. That said, I wish it was more of a traditional vic sponge flavour, I found it a touch too sweet on the vanilla front. We will almost certainly get it again though!
