We bought this for my father in laws 90th birthday party. It was extremely chocolatey and very moist and everyone loved it. The notes attached to the box stated it should be taken out of the fridge more than 12 hours before eating to allow it to be at its best. I don’t recall this being on the site when I bought it. We collected it on the day which made that difficult and we didn’t really know how long it had already been out of the fridge when we collected it at 13.00 from the customer services counter. Having said that it was very moist. To cut into thin neat slices it’s better to wipe the knife after every cut.

This cake was nicely iced and personalised and looks special. The sponge is soft and the icing just the right amount. It is nicely chocolatey but not overpowering or over sweet. I would absolutely buy this cake again. Everyone liked it and commented how nice it was. It looks delicious and it is delicious!
