This served as a birthday cake and it didn't disappoint. It was a soft, moist cake with lovely butter icing. It served 6of us with plenty for a second helping. A few candles was all it needed to elevate it to something special.

Beautiful cake, lacking in flavour. The cake, when unboxed, looked stunning. I'm usually keen to finish any birthday cake that's in the house and i didn't with this one. I pondered a little and realised that the cake had a very bland flavour. The icing was extremely sweet, but again had little flavour. There was nothing to keep me wanting more! It was a great price, especially as i had a Sparks discount. I'd go elsewhere for a celebration cake in future

Bought for a birthday. We first bought this cake a few years ago and wow has it shrunk. Great cake and taste but now more box and air than cake. Will not now buy again - shame. Better and cheaper to buy 2 off the shelf ones. Less layers but more servings

The cake is very rich, and quite sweet. The butter cream is thick and heavy, especially the top layer. It looks very pretty, but the taste doesn’t match.
