Extremely Dry. Not Worth £35. Absolutely Terrible!
No, I don't recommend this
This cake is absolutely terrible. It is extremely dry and other people who have given a low rating have said the exact same thing. The icing is very basic and this is definitely not a £35 worth of a cake. This tastes the same low quality as a shelf cake which sells for around £10 max. This does not have the taste of a £35 custom made cake. This has put me off ever buying other M&S cakes in the future. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

Lovely looking cake
This is a wow cake when you cut it, with all the pretty rainbow colours. My only slight negative is the cake was quite dry which is surprising as they are pre ordered and made to order. The cake did taste delicious, just wish it wasn't as dry. It's quite expensive so I was expecting it to be a little fresher.

A real show stopper of a cake! Delicious soft sponge in rainbow layers. Creamy butter icing and crunchy sprinkles. What's not to like!! I read some reviews about it being too sweet. For us, yes it was sweet, but no more than any other celebration cake! I bought it for my daughter's 30th birthday and everyone loved it.

Great cake for a special occasion. This size says for 12 people but we easily got way more if you cut the slices thinner. It’s so tall that everyone felt satisfied with their portion .Coulours are so vibrant and the cake was so moist, definitely would buy again
