A more vibrant shade of wine than on photo. Nice quality and I’m 1.73 and sits slightly lower than mini on me which is perfect. Quite a nice weight haven’t worn it yet but will add a slip underneath as I think the fabric may cling.

I was pleasantly surprised that this dress is a good quality velvet for the price. It fits to size and looks good on me . I’m 5.2 so it falls below the knee which is what I wanted. Will be wearing for a few special occasions.

Lovely dress, and hangs beautifully. Very comfortable to wear with a chunky jumper and boots for a casual look, or without for an evening vibe. Unlike many ‘velvet’ dresses at the moment, it looks expensive, and the colour is lovely. Size is spot on.

I bought this and the green velvet shirt dress to wear to a works Christmas do. Didn't want to spend much and rather annoyingly it's now in the sale!! It's polyester velvet but it's fine for a work event. I'd buy silk velvet if I could bit that would be very expensive. This is slightly shiny, but soft and easy to wear AND it's washable on 30 degrees, slower spin. I wore it with glittery tights (also from m&s) and retro style heels. I received some nice compliments. It's a nice length just skimming my knobbly knees (I'm 5ft 6 - size 12). It's true to size. I didn't need a camisole underneath but may need a shawl or jacket if going outside. I didn't meed to iron it after it was washed. All in all a great little dress. I'd like another one in navy blue.

Size 12 and fits well. I've had a navy M&S velvet skater dress for more than 10 years. It still looks perfect; I hope this one works and lasts as well!
