Saw this dress online and immediately thought it was for me. But unsure of how the length would be I ordered standard and longer length. Iāve already sent the longer length back, but remained undecided about the other one! Not because of the length, but because of the scruffy looking tie on the back. I thought about how I could alter it but in the end just decided it wasnāt worth the bother. Shame really as I loved it from the front, but felt the style was let down by the cheap looking fastening on the back.

Lovely comfortable dress. I liked it so much I bought two! Itās great to chuck on and would work over long sleeves and leggings in the winter. Itās quite thick denim too. The only issue is the lack of pockets, which is why Iāve knocked a star off. Cone on M&S, make all your dresses with pockets!

4stars as itās a heavier material than expected when sold in Summer. This means the tie design is quite thick. However itās loose, quite stylish and with or without something underneath I like it and shall wear it into autumn & beyond Iām in my 60ās and I felt on trend

Lovely, simple, relaxed fit dress which can easily be worn as a pinafore dress this winter. However, I was surprised to find that in a utility style like this, there are NO POCKETS. Also, as I had suspected before purchase, the tie back is fiddly and redundant. Luckily, I am competent with a needle and intend putting some patch pockets on and swapping out the back ties for something more sensible. Had I bought the dress at anything but sale price I wouldn't be bothering and it would be returned.

I love this dress and so pleased I could get it in petite so fit is great in my usual size 16 I love the looser style I am not sure about the tie at the back of the neck but may change it if it gets on my nerves. Drapes well over body doesn't show lumps and bumps saw it in store and ordered online perfect it is a thicker denim and will wear a jumper or blouse under in the winter so versatile

This is an incredibly well cut dress and so versatile. Can be worn now on its own or with a t shirt underneath. As the weather cools down it will work with a long sleeved t shirt or jumper, tights and boots. Lovely soft denim and a nice mid blue. Fits to size
