Satin Floral Midaxi Column Dress

I returned the first dress as it had a badly sewn back neck opening which wouldn't lie flat and a strange bulge of fabric at the back waistline. The second dress however was a much better fitting. The fabric is lovely and the pattern is really fresh for the late summer/autumn

Dress looks nice on, good fit. 4 stars as it is quite thin for the price compared to a similar dress I purchased which was lined. However I'm still happy with my purchase. A little disappointed that a couple of weeks later it was half price in the sale!

Love an M&S column dress and this one is a keeper. Lightweight fabric which hangs beautifully and looks expensive. Sized up for a relaxed fit 😁

Bought as a wedding guest dress but found fabric much too thin

I really love this dress and bought it for a special occasion. However, I had to order it three times before I got a dress that was a good fit with no faults. The first one fit perfectly but had big lumps on the shoulder seams. The second dress had uneven seams so the material didn’t hang properly. As this dress wasn’t available in store I had to keep ordering and returning on line, which wasn’t ideal, but I got there in the end and kept dress number three!

Caught my eye when looking for another item instore. Bias cut, flattering, smart, elegant, and good quality. Perfect wedding guest dress at short notice. At an affordable price. I don't usually buy polyester but appears to wear well, and gives the impression of being a fine fabric. Have yet to see how well it washes. Fingers crossed it remains awesome.

Lovely dress, slightly nipped in at the waist and has a lovely fit. I’m 5’10 and usually an 8 but currently in my second trimester so got a size 10.

Bought for a birthday celebration. I'm usually a 12 in M&S, but this felt a little tight over the bust.Tried the 14 but much too loose. Have kept the 12. It is a lovely shape, comfortable and doesn't seem to crease. Looks great with brogue style shoes!

I struggle to find dresses that fit being a petite 5'2", I loved the look of this dress but a petite option was not available - I decided to order it and I'm so glad I did. It fits me perfectly, is a little longer on me than the model but I'm fine with that. Looking forward to wearing it in Italy next week!

Thin material, but seems to hang well. Nive 'shove on' dress. Great day to night to dress up or down. Looking forward to wearing it

Love this dress it’s a beautiful pattern and nice (flimsy) satin fabric… few comments on sizing. I sized up to a 14 as I’m usually a 12 and it’s still on a small side. Sleeves could be longer and so could the length of the dress. I’m 5 foot 7 and usually get regular at marks. If I had been in store I probably would have gone for the 16 to get the look the model has in the photos. So that would be sizing up 2 sizes! I fear it would then be way too big on the shoulders.

Love the pattern & style & it looks fantastic from the front. But when you look at the dress from the back the button closure at the back is weird. It bulges out. I can’t work out what’s wrong with it to fix it. Maybe the facing needed to be stitched a different way. Not sure that’s ok for a £60 polyester dress.
