Pure Wool Mattress Topper

This is a really good quality mattress topper which has an amazing effect on the comfort of the existing mattress.

Echoed in many other reviews, I can confirm the sizing is a little miserly being cut just a tiny bit too short from the edges of, in this case, a king size mattress. However, it adds a smooth, comfortable and importantly; breathable layer to the mattress as intended and it is only marginally shorter perhaps as much as a centimetre all the way round which is unnoticeable when the base sheet is in place. There is certainly room for improvement for the price point; I would’ve hoped it was a little thicker and cut a little more generously around the edges but despite having read the scathing reviews I still decided try this topper and will not be sending it back as it works well enough to achieve the desired outcome.

Bought this topper and it is a couple of inches too short in width and length for a standard uk double bed. Needs to be returned.

I ordered this mattress topper for my double bed but it didn't reach the sides of the bed by about an inch each side. It can't be washed or dry cleaned, so sadly had to return it.

I was delighted to find a pure wool mattress topper at Marks & Spencer as I had been searching for one for many years; however, I was very disappointed when I received the product, as it is not thick and plump as it appears in the photo on the website. It is very lightweight and only 1cm in depth, (which is half the depth of a pure wool quilt I have) and I can feel the mattress through it. The only enjoyment I get from using it, is that I love the feeling of sleeping on pure wool. I also bought the pure wool pillow and that is absolutely perfect.
