Bikini outfit ideas: how to style your swimwear
If you're thinking of bikini outfit ideas to wear this summer, start with the basics. For an easy base that you can build upon again and again a classic black or white bikini is a failsafe choice and perfect for layering. Or, make a statement with a brightly patterned or colour-blocked bikini.
When it comes to beach cover-ups, a sarong is always a reliable choice. The wraparound style and knotted waist feels effortlessly elegant, plus the lightweight fabric folds compactly into your beach bag for days out.
For a more elevated feel, try pairing your bikini with a skirt. You'll find a floaty maxi-style skirt is the ideal holiday companion — excellent as a poolside layer and just as elegant for evening drinks.
Got limited packing space? Investing in a co-ord is essential. We love a shirt and short set that can be worn together or separately over a bikini. You can also mix and match with T-shirts or trousers to get even more mileage out of your wardrobe.

How to tie a bikini top: different ways to style it
Changing the way you tie your bikini top is a clever way to get more wear out of a much-loved set.
There are a few different ways to tie bikini tops. Try turning the top of a classic triangle bikini upside down so that the part that usually cinches below the bust sits above. Tie the top straps around the neck and the back straps as usual and ta-dah: you have a new, ruched halter-neck look. We love this bright yellow triangle bikini that also comes in a vibrant blue hue.
To create a strapless top out of a triangle bikini, do as above but instead of tying the top straps around your neck, tie them in the centre of your bust, creating a keyhole cutout.
Bandeau bikini tops are our favourite for creating three looks in one. Whilst the straps are ideal for extra support, they can also be removed or adjusted to create a new look. Try extending one strap and attaching it either side at the front for a flattering halter neck, or remove them completely to go strapless. Our twist-front bandeau bikini top is perfect for trying this out.

The best maternity bikinis: bikinis for every body
Whilst maternity swimsuits are always a popular choice, don't overlook a trusty bikini to see you through your pregnancy. The best bikinis for pregnancy are both comfortable and stylish, offering enough support to keep you feeling secure, whilst also helping you look (and feel) your best.
For more support, explore our selection of square-neck bikinis that have wider straps to give extra lift and hold. If you want a bit more coverage but the versatility of a two-piece, a tankini is a great solution. We have a wide range of tankinis in a variety of colours and patterns.
Our high-waisted bikini bottoms offer additional coverage and are designed with added stretch so they’ll comfortably hug your bump. Alternatively, look for a pair of bikini bottoms with side ties that can be adjusted to fit as your pregnancy progresses.
