A welcome offer
This is my regular buy so it was a welcome price reduction by Marks and Spencer. It is a lovely talcum powder and lasts for several months.

I wrote a really long review on this, but when I went to send it it kicked me out.. i'm going to try one more time... The dusting powder comes in a beautiful package, but that's where it stops... You open it up and the powder is actually in a flimsy cardboard box that's covered with white paper with no instructions on how you should open this.. I thought they're clearly had to be an easier way than me just poking a hole in it... I tried for two days to get ahold of someone in customer service and they could help me. Everyone passed the buck... I was able to talk to someone on my last call and yes, you just cut a hole in it... I mean really I can't believe how cheesy this is... Estee Lauder is better than this .. I will attach photos so if you are thinking of getting this, you may want to think twice... I would return it if I thought that they would take it back, but I'm sure they won't.

I noticed that this powder has the same beautiful scent as the EDP (perfume), but it has a gleaming finish with specks of glitter, which I believe is mica. I also know that inhaling mica particles can harm the lungs, and it is not always ethically sourced from miners in Asia. So, if this is a concern for you, it might be best to avoid using it.

I am in my seventies but upbeat. I have very sensitive skin and have tried almost every body powder on the market and Youth Dew by Estee Lauder is the only one that works for me. I have been using this for many years. Also, Estee Lauder lipstick is very easy on the lips. Estee Lauder, too, is the only lipstick I use.

Finding a perfumed talc has become difficult due to the legal issues of talc products. Was happy to find this still available. I only gave 4 stars because I believe the cost is quite excessive for the amount of product in the box. But still love Youth Dew so was willing to pay the price. May or may not reorder at this price.

Very difficult to open and use. There should be some kind of fine mesh over the powder. Once You take the paper off you are left with a sticky mess to which the beautiful powder puff sticks, to...don't bother doing the online chat. You'll be directed to a YouTube video for a different product. For the cost of this I would have expected a much better container that would be safe to take on holiday with me. As it is, once you take the paper off. The powder will go everywhere apart from on your body..Such a shame.
