I bought it because I liked the shape and it fits me perfectly. I’m 5’6” and size 14. The fabric is a bit heavy for summer so I haven’t worn it yet. It will be a smart addition to my winter wardrobe.

Worn and Returned to be sold again!!
Purchased this initially in a 10 but was not happy with the overall fit so reordered in an 8 only to be extremely disappointed. The 8 fit perfectly, but as soon as i removed it from the packaging, the stench of cigarette smoke was very obvious. This dress was needed for a function the following weekend so needless to say I had to resort to something else. Regardless, the dress has a beautiful fit and hangs well due to the heavy fabric and general Phase Eight quality that never disappoints. I am just very annoyed that the QA did not happen in M&S warehouse before repackaging and sending out to another customer.
