These are great very fine knit to wear under jeans, trousers, ski wear. I purchased as a base layer for hiking and a visit to Finland. I wanted something with merino and thin enough to wear under anything. I wore in 0 degrees for a 9 mile hike and were perfect. I’ve ordered another pair. A touch expensive considering only partly merino but the fit is good for me. I’m 5’6 and weigh 80kg size 14 bottom and the size 14 are true size.

Perfect! warm and comfortable! Much preferable to merino tights. The waistband is wide so feels more comfortable (and flattering) than a thin waistband on tights

Bought to have a few extra few sets for Christmas skiing. Gave them a trial run last week in the cold weather and they were quite good on the warmth scale as they are finer than my last pair from another company. Will see how they fair on a chairlift in -12c - fingers crossed. My only wish is Marks had been bolder in offering more colours - Red, Burgandy, Dark Green, Chooolate … and maybe a lovely cream stripe Down the arm to give it some more detail. Maybe the word ski should be omitted - as this can be worn under all normal clothing for outdoor events and other sports. Love skiing but would prefer other dark colours and design details over the ski label over the chest so it can be used across multiple situations.
