Retro revival
Plush, seventies-inspired interiors in rich shades of burnt orange, teal and brown offer a new take on the era's opulent design. To give your space an eclectic update, try introducing maximalist elements and tactile materials, such as etched wood, glazed ceramics and soft velvet furnishings. We're loving how this wavy mirror (available in selected stores) adds shape and contrast. Build on the retro feel with copious amounts of greenery (real or fake: the choice is yours), scented candles, and low-level lighting to add to the inviting ambience.

Hip to be square
Turn your bedroom into the haven you deserve with sumptuous new bedding – you'll find that turning in will suddenly become the highlight of your day (don't say we didn't warn you). Discover our retro revival range of vibrantly printed bedding sets and cushions in bold, bright and geometric designs that will reboot your sleeping space. Upgrading your bedside lighting is another way to instantly update your space. We love this sculptural wooden bedside lamp (available in selected stores), which will gently illuminate your bedtime reading.

Raise a glass
Eye-catching glassware is set to be a major talking point at dinner parties this season, from spotted tumblers to speckled wine glasses and petal-edged highball tumblers. But cast aside any ideas of stuffiness; these attention-grabbing glassware designs are playful and irreverent. Glassware with an artisanal feel will add a whimsical touch to al fresco lunches and sundowners, creating a talking point and a tablescape to remember. Why not check out our cocktail recipes to match the tipple to the glass like a professional?

Plush hour
Cosy cushions add a sense of comfort and ease to any setting, whether artfully arranged on a sofa or piled high on a bed. Our geometric velvet cushions with tufted trims (available in selected stores) will elevate your furniture while nodding to the striking patterns of the retro revival trend. Consider this two-tone design paired with our burnt orange velvet chairs, the perfect spot for curling up with a book on long summer evenings. We also have soft-pile rugs in graphic designs to complement the colour palette, for example this apple-green design by Asiatic available to order online.

On the shelf
Carefully curated shelves can make a meaningful addition to your living space. It can be helpful to arrange items on the floor to begin with so you can plan how your ornaments sit together. Use books and boxes to elevate smaller items and add interest. If you haven’t opted for an overall tonal scheme, you can create mini colour themes for each shelf. Consider shapes and proportions, and play around with negative space. Place larger home accessories towards the back, then layer forward with smaller items at the front. Et voilà.
