From the walk to school until the home-time bell, kids’ uniform goes through a lot. Fortunately our schoolwear features some clever innovations to make everyone’s life that bit easier
The last thing kids need is to be distracted in class, so it’s essential they’re at ease with their clothes. For little ones, the top button on a shirt can prove to be a challenge so we’ve swapped it for Velcro, and we’ve added elasticated cuffs so they can dress themselves. We’ve also created an Easy Dressing range with the National Autistic Society, with innovations like pull-up trousers without fiddly zips and care labels on inside pockets to help children feel comfortable all day.

Kids have a talent for getting clothes dirty, so anything that helps you tackle the washing mountain at the end of the week is a lifesaver. All our uniforms are machine- and tumble dry-friendly and jumpers have Stay New technology to prevent bobbles and colour loss. Sunday evenings can now be spent in front of the TV instead of the ironing board thanks to our non-iron shirts and our perma-crease skirts, which look smart straight after a wash.
“School shoes have
banish bad odours”
Don’t underestimate how important it is for kids to have a uniform that fits them properly. As well as regular sizes, we have slim- and plus-fit ranges and our jumpers come with added stretch. Kids grow at an astonishing rate so our trousers and skirts have adjustable waists and hems to make them last longer. With a uniform that fits properly, they’ll look smart and be more confident in class.
