Bought for school on GCSE results day. I covered it in fresh strawberries and chocolate buttons. It was popular with the adults and kids. It’s important to follow the storage instructions in order to enjoy the cake - don’t store in the fridge. It was moist and a not too sickly with loads of icing. Excellent value and good to add your own theme.

Nice cake, needed more vanilla flavour as it was only buttercream. Had there been an option for jam & buttercream it would have been more flavoursome. Also not happy with palm oil as an ingredient.

The cake was absolutely beautiful. It was in perfect condition when I collected it in store. It tasted lovely, was soft and moist and had just the right amount of buttercream. I decorated it with some sugar paste flowers and it was a stunning addition to our wedding celebrations. Lots of compliments were received. Very pleased.

This was such a disappointing cake sadly. Clean to look at but flavour-wise quite tasteless and the buttery taste that used to be there is no longer. Tastes of much cheaper ingredients, probably butter watered down with another oil or fat. Wouldn’t buy again sadly.

I bought this for my parents’ 80th birthday. It was smaller than I thought and the slices were small for 20 people but it was fine. It tasted very nice and looked good once I’d decorated it with candles and gold spray and sparkles. I would recommend if you don’t want to bake a cake yourself but want to personalise it.
