Not solid cork!

These are not solid cork , but something covered wint very thinliy sliced cork bits to look like cork. I guess that is also why mine are not flat, they are bent, and I gave them couple months now, tried to leave under heavy books, but no luck, still not flat. Annoying! not the quality you would expect from M&S.

Placemats were bought to replace some old square shaped ones (not from M&S). These M&S placemats are of much better quality and the round shape also works better on our oval table. They look smart and stylish, and the price was good, too. What’s not to like?!

No, I don't recommend this
Really like these but be warned they are wrapped with string which imprints badly into the soft material. This is made worse when they are sent by post with no protective material.
