Strange smell
No, I don't recommend this
It is exactly as described - a tablecloth with a frayed edge. After first wash, the frayed fringe began to clump. However, the material has a very unpleasant and quite strong smell - not certain what, maybe some sort of chemical treatment? Smell has persisted after first wash.
