Beautiful but fits small

This dress is stunning, floaty and feminine and looks and feels beautiful on. However I am a standard m and s size 10 and needed to go up to a 12 because whilst the dress is cut to a 10 and fine, the cotton inner lining is tight against the body and made the bodice very tight fitting. I’d suggest going up a size unless mine was a one off? The zip at the back is a little difficult to manoeuvre but I managed it with perseverance! Absolutely lovely dress though.

This is the sort of dress you can wear for an occasion or just every day. I will be wearing mine with a little denim jacket and sometimes ankle boots and sometimes white plimsolls. This is definitely a dress that deserves a brooch or a faux flower! There was a little too much volume round the back but I was able to take a little pleat in on both sides to fit the bodice more closely. The pintuck detail makes the dress look much more expensive. It is a midcalf length which I love.
