Pure Cotton Pintuck Midi Shirt Dress

I liked this dress and although petite found the regular a better length. However the brown was too much in my frame and a lighter or brighter colour might have been better.

Lovely material had to size up due to the chest area being tight but the style is so nice wish it came in more colours

I bought this dress in 3 sizes - I am often a size 10 but looking at the previous reviews I bought a 12 reg, 12 short and 14 reg just to make sure. A size 12 on the sizing guide is a waist of 29.5 inches but the actual dress (12 reg) only measured a small 29 inches... The size 12 short was a bit more generous and the the actual measured waist was 29.75inches. The size 14 was way too big across the chest and hips. Other brands with very similar styles - and there are many - have a small part of the waist with elastic to give a little breathing space. at least it has pockets

Nice quality material, colour and style which would have been perfect apart from the cinched in waist. Ordered a size 10 my normal size but the waist was too tight so ordered a size 12 which was fine on the waist but enormous everywhere else, so unfortunately both were returned.

Its a great dress, smart enough for work and to wear casually. The waist is cut very narrowly so I had to size up. Lovely dress that keeps you cool on a hot day!

THE perfect midi short dress. Great for work or the weekends. Great quality light cotton perfect for summer. Very flattering with a cinched waist look. The genius popper ensures no gaping. Truly one of the best dresses M&S has sold recently. The chocolate is a great colour. More colours please including black and white!

I don’t know if it was just me but the sleeves are stitched quite close to the body of the dress. So every movement felt restricted. I tried it on and was genuinely confused as to whether or not it was an error or the design - it was the design!!

Fabulous dress, very lightweight, great chocolate brown colour, very fitted at the waist but easy to wear. Popper at waist level to stop gaping. Love it. I’ve worn it out for lunch and to a bbq, much admired.

Very poor fit, not much room between armpit and waist Seam also came undone after wearing once Returned to store shop assistant not helpful at all

This is a nice dress, suitable for summer workwear. I’ve only given four stars because there’s a panel in the middle that is quite unforgiving. A standard shirt dress shape would make this work for more people.
