Purchased this to go to a funeral on a hot day. I am 5ft 2in and it came to mid calf. Ideal, but some my consider it too long. The broderie anglaise starts below the knee which is lovely. This is repeated on the short sleeves which are quite full. The bodice shirring ends just above the waist making the fit comfortable. The dress shape hides a multitude of sins. Deep pockets are a bonus and hidden in the full skirt. Body fit is perfect. I ordered the size I am. Cotton is good quality, not see through. You can dress this up with accessories, or leave it plain.
