I’ve been buying M&S shirts, pretty-much exclusively, all my adult life - so I felt it fairly safe to buy a shirt online. However, as also commented by another reviewer, I found this shirt extremely small. The 16.5 inch collar is very tight - and feels much more 15.5 inches. The indicated 44 inch chest size also appears more like a 40 inch chest. With my arms hanging to my sides, the cuff sits a full inch above the ‘knuckle’ of my wrist. With my arms raised out to shoulder-height, the cuffs retract to over 4 inches above that point on my wrist. For reference, the model (wearing the shirt) on the M&S website page is described as 6ft 1 and appears to be of a slim and lean build. I am 6ft 2 and am also of a slim and lean build. I was surprised at how small this shirt is and am afraid to say I feel M&S have made a very unusual mistake with this product. However, there is a better alternative - have a look at product code T114211M; ‘Regular Fit Luxury Cotton Double Cuff Twill Shirt’. By contrast, I found this shirt to fit me perfectly, and is much better made - and what I would expect of an M&S 16.5 inch collar/44 inch chest size shirt. Confirm that the double cuff is for cuff links and features an easily removable knotted string. It does also feature removable plastic ‘bones’ in the collar.

Bought for Father of the Bride, this hasn't been worn yet. The style is available in normal and slim fit. All the bridal party and ushers will be wearing the same shirt for our daughter's wedding in Cyprus. It fits well and looks smart and fashionable.

As formal shirts are now not in any packaging but still folded there was a black mark where folded, I ordered another one, this still had a slight mark in the same place and the collar was a bit crushed.
