Lovely Shirt/Jacket but Sleeves too short

Bought this to use as a lightweight jacket, which it is perfect for. Really flattering and lovely shape, well made and nice material and colour. Unfortunately the sleeves are too short for me. I ordered a 12 (my usual size) and sleeves were too short. So ordered a 14, and I couldn't tell any difference to the size 12, plus the sleeves were still too short for me. Honestly, M&S clothes, particularly jackets & coats, sleeves are too short for me in general; not a problem I ever have with other brands so must be an M&S thing. Shame because it's really lovely and perfect for what I wanted.

I waited weeks for this to come in to stock as it wasn’t available in my local store! The wait was definitely worth it! The pin tuck detailing and puff sleeves elevate this simple top into something special. Although it’s sold as a shirt I’ve worn it numerous times over a simple T-shirt as a jacket. Perfect with jeans and a leopard pump/trainer!

Stylish, good neutral colour and fits well apart from the sleeves which are strangely short. I’m not tall at 5’ 3” and the collarless style and gathered sleeves make me look very broad shouldered, so sadly I’ll be returning it.

This shirt is very well designed. It fits me perfectly and looks much more expensive than it is. The sleeves are just the right length and the style looks good. The pleated details are attractive. I like the press studs, which put it between a shirt and a jacket. Great under my bronze gilet. To the customer who remarked on the fabric being stiff, it is not particularly stiff and after all it is denim. The 20% off voucher turned up at just the right moment too as I had been thinking about buying it for some time. I doubt there are any more left. Fortunately the only size available was just right for me.

Way Too Big

This top looked so good on line I bought it in my size medium but it was way too big and the back is gathered which added to it. The sleeves were too full and the fit of the whole garment did not suit me at all. There is something wrong with M&S sizing, I ordered 4 garments, one was perfect fit the other three were either too big or way too small. Please do something about sizing, it is very frustrating to have to return so much.

Lovely denim shirt, will get a lot of wear out of it as it’s thicker under a jumper for early spring, then as it warms up will wear on its own over a tank or T-shirt then probably wear it over dresses etc in summer! It’s a lovely style too. I went up a size as I wanted it looser so I could wear things underneath and it was true to size. Highly recommend
