I'd already bought the 2 litre jars for cereals and needed some for flour, they were perfect height for the area where they were to be stored but they hold 1kg of flour and plain and SR flour come usually in 1.5kg but that is a small point and my problem! The clip on the lid is very strong. They look grand.

I have been using Kilner jars for years and the design and quality is great. This one was purchased to store pasta. The jar is not too heavy and looks great when filled. I put on re-useable black labels with a white pen.
